Veteran Telugu actor Sarath Babu passes away at 73

Telugu actor Sarath Babu breathed his last today due to multiple organ failure in Hyderabad. He was receiving treatment for the past couple of days due to his detoriorating heath condition. He was first admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru and later on he was shfter to AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad where he was receiving reatment for more than a month.

Sarath Babu was 73 year old. He is known for his acting performances in several films over 300 movies across languages, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. He became famous for his role in Tamil film Nizhal Nijamagiradhu directed by late legendary director K Balachander.

Sarath Babu used to play many villain roles and also different characters in numerous Telugu moies. His performances in Maro Charitra, Sagara Sangamam, 47 Rojulu, Sitara, Anveshana, Annayya, Seethakoka Chiluka, are well known. He has won eight Nandi Awards for his performancces in different movues. His last movie was Malli Pelli, that is scheduled to release this Friday. The entire film industry is in shock over the sudden demise of the reknowned actor. Sarath Babu’s last rites will take place in Chennai tomorrow.
