While Jawan has scored an all-time biggest opening in Hindi with estimates in the vicinity of Rs. 65 crores, the SRK starrer is on a record-breaking spree even in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. According to early estimates, Jawan has collected in the range of Rs 8 to 10 crores, making it an all-time number one opening for a Hindi Film dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.

Jawan has surpassed the previous best number of Brahmastra when it comes to the opening day of a Hindi Film dubbed in Tamil and Telugu by a big margin. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer had opened at Rs. 3.75 crores nett in the dubbed version on opening day. Jawan benefitted from the presence of Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil Nadu, as well as the brand of Atlee, as the business is of course driven by the three forces in addition to the SRK factor in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and APTS.

With Jawan collecting Rs. 9 crores in Tamil and Telugu, the all-India opening of Jawan has landed in the range of Rs. 74 to 76 crores, which is the biggest ever single-day collection for a film from Hindi Origin. The platform is set for Jawan to become the first Pan India Blockbuster of Hindi Cinema as the dubbed versions are also recording good numbers on the opening day, and the early audience response is also extremely positive.

Jawan has scored the biggest single day ever topping the previous best, Pathaan, which collected almost Rs. 70 crores on Republic Day. Jawan is expected to explode even further over the weekend as the audience response is simply phenomenal.
