It was a massive Monday at the box office as Tiger 3 went on an overdrive. It was always on the cards that Monday number will take a huge lead over Sunday since this was actually the post Diwali day when audiences come in full force. However, when Sunday itself saw excellent footfalls, it was a given that Monday would be unstoppable with collections very comfortably going past not just the Rs. 50 crores but even come close to the 60s.

This is what that happened as Rs. 60 crores* more came in, which is simply a massive number. Tiger 3 has been released at a huge count of screens which means that even if doesn’t register full house everywhere and instead runs at 50%-60%-70% capacity then also the overall collections would turn out to be very huge. Audiences were heading for theatres in a major way on Monday, especially in afternoon and evening shows, and resulting in such kind of massive moolah at the box office.

The Salman Khan starrer has now also entered the Rs. 100 Crore Club in style as it has taken just two days to reach here. The only other films which have managed to do that are Pathaan, Jawan and KGF: Chapter 2 [Hindi], which goes on to show how much further ahead can Tiger 3 eventually go if the momentum continues in the same way. Currently standing at Rs. 104.50 crores*, the film should go past Rs. 150 crores milestone today and then it would be time to make a call for that quick-fire entry into the Rs. 200 Crore Club as well.
