Just a couple of months back, Jawan had entered the Rs. 300 Crore Club in just 5 days. That was a smash record, as never before had a film scored a triple century so fast. Prior to that, the record was held by Pathaan, which had reached this milestone in 6 days. Another huge all time mega blockbuster of 2023 has been Gadar 2 and that too had taken 8 days to reach this feat. Hence, anything lesser than that is a major feat in itself.

That’s the reason why it is commendable that Animal has gone a couple of notches above Gadar 2 and has actually matched Pathaan when it comes to scoring the quickest triple century ever. It has now done that in just 6 days and that’s equal to the number of days that Pathaan took to reach there. What’s notable is that both Pathaan and Gadar 2 were supported by big national holidays whereas Animal doesn’t have any such advantage. On the other hand it has a running length of around three and a half hours which further curtails its show count, and it’s still roaring big.

That can well be seen from the fact that on Wednesday too, the collections were truly massive at Rs. 30.46 crores. The film is roaring like anything and with Rs. 314.50 crores under its kitty in just 6 days and two open weeks ahead, a quick-fire entry into the Rs. 400 Crore Club followed by a chase towards the Rs. 500 crores mark is pretty much on the anvil.
